【伽車提】秦言去。《大品》車字門,入諸法欲不可得故。如影五眾,亦不可得故。論曰:「即知一切法無所去。」《華嚴》唱車(上聲)字時,名修行方便藏,各別圓滿。疏云:「即欲樂覆性。」
[Gacchati] In Qin it means "to go". In the Pañcaviṃśatisāhasrikā-prajñāpāramitā Sūtra, as for the cha-syllable gate, it is because one enters into the ungraspability of desire regarding all phenomena; and because like shadows, the five aggregates are also ungraspable. The Śāstra says: "One immediately knows that all phenomena have nowhere to go." In the Avataṃsaka Sūtra, when intoning the syllable cha (rising tone), it is called the treasury of expedients in practice, individually perfected. The Commentary says: "Namely, the obscuring nature of desire and pleasure."
