7.45

太康五年十月十四日。菩薩沙門法護。於燉煌從龜茲副使美子侯。得此梵書不退轉法輪經。口敷晉言。授沙門法乘使流布。一切咸悉聞知。

On the fourteenth day of the tenth month of the fifth year of the Taikang era (284 CE), the Bodhisattva-śramaṇa Dharmarakṣa obtained this Sanskrit manuscript of the Sūtra of the Wheel of the Non-Retrogressive Dharma in Dunhuang from Meizihou, the Deputy Envoy of Kucha. He expounded it orally in the Jin language and bestowed it on the śramaṇa Facheng to distribute, so that all might hear and know it.
