八吉祥經。宋元嘉二十九年太歲壬辰正月三日。天竺國大乘比丘釋求那跋陀羅。於荊州城內譯出。此經至其月六日竟使。持節侍中都督荊湘雍益梁寧南北秦八州諸軍事司空荊州刺史領南蠻挍尉南譙王優婆塞劉義宣為檀越。

The Bajixiang jing was translated within the city of Jingzhou by the Mahāyāna monk Shi Guṇabhadra from the country of Tianzhu on the third day of the first month in the renchen year, the twenty-ninth year of the Yuanjia reign era of the Song. By the sixth day of that month, the work was brought to completion. The donor was the Upāsaka Liu Yixuan, Prince of Nanqiao, Bearer of the Tally, Palace Attendant, Commander-in-Chief of Military Affairs in the Eight Provinces of Jing, Xiang, Yong, Yi, Liang, Ning, and North and South Qin, Minister of Works, Regional Inspector of Jingzhou, and concurrently Colonel of the Southern Barbarians.
