The above one hundred and twenty-five works, comprising one hundred and forty-eight fascicles in total, are all very extensive collections of texts and fascicles with lost translator attributions drawn from Vinaya Master Sengyou's *Chu sanzang ji ji*, the two catalogues Ancient and Old, Dao'an's *Lost Sources*, as well as newly and previously acquired works. Collation against various catalogues revealed many weed-strewn redundancies; entries cross each other so that setting them in order is truly difficult. Without seeing the sūtra fascicles, one merely peruses their nominal titles; some have canonical entries, some have known lineages, while others have no entry and no translator. Examining their origins, they were not without reason. Having spanned long ages, they are therefore appended at the end here. It is hoped that later widely learned scholars, should they chance upon the original sources, may return them to their rightful listings so that there is firm evidence, clarifying the sea of Dharma and stilling the surging waves. Furthermore, my examination of the entries visible in the canonical collections yielded only twenty-five fascicles, as described separately; the remaining texts are missing and have not yet been retrieved.
