沙門曇摩蜱。此言法愛。印度人。器宇明敏志好弘誘。以符秦建元十八年歲次丙戌。與竺佛念共於長安譯摩訶般若波羅蜜經抄一部（五卷）。

The śramaṇa Tanmopi (which means “Dharma Love”) was a native of India. His capacity was lucid and acute, and he was dedicated to widely guiding others. In the eighteenth year of the Jianyuan reign of Fu Qin, the year bingxu, he translated together with Zhu Fonian in Chang'an one work: the *Abridged Mahāprajñāpāramitā Sūtra* (five fascicles).
