新錄合二十卷。開為總別。總錄括聚群經。別錄分其乘藏。二錄各成十卷。就別更有七門。今先敘科條餘次編載。

This new catalogue totals twenty fascicles, divided into the General [Catalogue] and the Classified [Catalogue]. The General Catalogue brings together all the sūtras, while the Classified Catalogue categorises them by vehicle and piṭaka. Each of the two catalogues comprises ten fascicles. Within the Classified [Catalogue], there are further seven sections. Now I first explain the classification scheme, and the rest will be arranged and recorded in order.
