The above twenty-two works, in eighty fascicles altogether, [beginning with] Miji Lishi Jing, have all been compiled into the Mahāratnakūṭa-sūtra collection, and thus there are no separate copies.
Xin Daoxing Jing, 7 fascicles: Upon checking the copies in various collections, their text is entirely identical to the Xiaopin, but the title differs; therefore it was not separately transcribed. The Daoxing itself could not be found upon searching.
Defangdeng Daji Jing, 8 fascicles: This corresponds to the sixth wrapper of the combined Daji Jing, and now exists as a separate copy. The first chapter and fascicle is the Mingdu Wushi Jiaoji Jing; the following six fascicles are the Wujinyi.
Anouda Longwang Jing, 2 fascicles: The text is entirely identical to the Hongdao Guangxian Sanmei Jing in the canon.
Hedao Shenzu Jing, 3 fascicles: The sentences and phrases are entirely identical to the Dao Shenzu Wuji Bianhua in the canon.
Aiqi Jing, 3 fascicles: The sentences and phrases are entirely identical to the Fangdeng Bannihuan in the canon.
Bao Sihui Yin Sanmei Jing, 1 fascicle: The sentences and phrases are entirely identical to the Huiyin Sanmei in the canon.
Luzi Jing, 1 fascicle: The sentences and phrases are entirely identical to the Lumu Jing in the canon.

Zhenwei Shamen Jing, 1 fascicle: The sentences and phrases are entirely identical to the Jaye Jin Jing in the canon.
Zhuanfalun Jing, 1 fascicle: Upon checking the copies in various collections, they are all the Zhuanfalun; that Zhuanfalun Jing is entirely identical to this.
Bintoulu Wei Wang Shuofa Jing, 1 fascicle: The sentences and phrases are entirely identical to the Bintoulu Tuluoshe Wei Youdayan Wang Shuofa in the canon.
Alanruo Xi Chanfa Jing, 2 fascicles: The text is entirely identical to the Zuochan Sanmei Jing in the canon.
Chan Miyao Jing, 5 fascicles: Upon checking the copies in various collections, the text is extremely disordered. It is not the original sūtra and is not fit for dissemination. An authentic copy of this sūtra has not yet been obtained upon searching.
The above nineteen works, in forty-two fascicles in total, [beginning with] the Xin Daoxing and so forth, are either one sūtra under two titles, or perhaps at the time an authentic copy was lacking, so one sūtra was retained. Duplicates are not recorded.

The above five works in eighteen fascicles were entered into the canon in the Zhou catalogue, which redundantly recorded two copies; now only one is retained.
Xukongzang Suowen Jing, 8 fascicles: This is the complete Chapter of Ākāśagarbha from the Daji Jing;
Xukongzang Pusa Suowen Chijing De Jifu Jing, 1 fascicle: This is an excerpt from the aforementioned Chapter of Ākāśagarbha;
Defangguang Rulai Xingqi Weimizang Jing, 2 fascicles: This is the complete Chapter of the Manifestation of the Tathāgata Ratnarāja from the older Avataṃsaka-sūtra;
Suiyuan Wangsheng Jing, 1 fascicle: This is the eleventh fascicle of the Guanding Jing;
Jiu Yaoshi Jing, 1 fascicle: The one where the Buddha travels in Vaiśālī is the twelfth fascicle of the Guanding Jing;

The above fifteen works in twenty-four fascicles, from Xukongzang down: since they emerged from larger works, they are separately extracted texts. According to the catalogues of sūtras, separately extracted sūtras do not need to be transcribed; therefore they have been removed from the canonical catalogue and are not recorded.

The thirty-two sūtras from Huosheng Zhangzhe down are all taken from the Mūlasarvāstivāda Vinaya Kṣudrakavastu. The forty-one works in forty-six fascicles from Mojieyu down are all origin stories in the Sarvāstivāda Vinaya, extracted and circulated by Tripiṭaka Master Yijing. Since they are akin to separately extracted texts, they are also not compiled or recorded.

The three works in nine fascicles from Huanshi down were all extant sūtras entered into the canon in the Zhou catalogue. Authentic copies have not been obtained upon searching now, which is why they are not recorded in this catalogue. Newly translated sūtras whose copies have not yet been obtained cannot be recorded in full detail.

The ten works in fifteen fascicles from Jingdu down are all apocryphal and suspect sūtras from ancient and older catalogues. Although the Zhou catalogue compiled them among the authentic texts, their phrasing and doctrine involve human fabrication; therefore they have been removed from this catalogue and are not recorded.
In all, there are one hundred sixteen works in one hundred forty-two fascicles above. Most are extant canonical texts found in various catalogues. Because they are all redundant duplicates, or because they could not be found upon searching, they are not established as confirmed texts; fearing that people might not know the details, they are briefly set forth here. If one wishes to know their origins and causes in detail, they are all extensively related in the Shanfan Lu.
