自　高祖神堯皇帝武德元年歲次戊寅。至皇帝貞元十六年庚辰之歲。兼天后代凡經一百八十三載。傳譯緇素已有四十六人。所出經律論及傳錄等。總四百三十五部二千四百七十六卷（於中四百七部二千三百九十九卷見在二十七部七十七卷訪本未獲）。

From the first year of Wude of Emperor Gaozu Shenyao, the wuyin year, to the sixteenth year of Zhenyuan of the reigning emperor, the gengchen year, including the reign of the Heavenly Empress [Wu Zetian], a total of one hundred and eighty-three years have elapsed. Translators of both the monastic and lay communities have numbered forty-six persons. The sūtras, vinayas, śāstras, chronicles, and catalogues produced amount in total to 435 works in 2,476 fascicles (among which 407 works in 2,399 fascicles are currently extant, while texts for 27 works in 77 fascicles have been sought but not yet obtained).
