14.25

大弘教和上法流後嗣大廣智三藏。追遠慎終奉國盡忠。精持佛戒存沒不朽永播清徽。哀榮之情光諸萬古矣。所譯經法不及得入開元目錄。今請准勅編入貞元新定釋教目錄。下皆例此。

The Tripiṭaka Master of Vast and Great Wisdom was the Dharma successor of Preceptor Dahongjiao. Pursuing the distant and careful at the end, he served the state with utmost loyalty, rigorously maintaining the Buddha's precepts; whether living or dead, he is imperishable, forever broadcasting his pure fame. His feelings of grief and glory shine across ten thousand ages. The scriptures and teachings he translated could not be included in the Kaiyuan Catalogue in time; I now request that, in accordance with the imperial decree, they be compiled into this Zhenyuan Newly Revised Catalogue of Buddhist Teachings. All subsequent [entries] follow this example.
