上八論十二卷同帙。
*Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa* (*Dazhidu lun*), one hundred fascicles (also in one hundred and ten fascicles, or seventy fascicles), translated by Kumārajīva, Tripiṭaka master of the Yao Qin; sole translation.
The above was composed by Bodhisattva Nāgārjuna to comment on the *Mahāprajñāpāramitā-sūtra*. (Dharma Master [Kumārajīva] stated: "If fully translated, it should comprise one thousand fascicles. Because the people of Qin have feeble acumen, it was abridged to retain one tenth.")
*Daśabhūmika-sūtra-śāstra* (*Shidi jing lun*), twelve fascicles (also in fifteen fascicles, one case), translated by Bodhiruci and others, Indian Tripiṭaka master of the Northern Wei; sole translation.
The above was composed by Bodhisattva Vasubandhu to comment on the *Daśabhūmika-sūtra*, which is the "Daśabhūmika" chapter of the *Avataṃsaka*.
(The preface to the treatise states: "Bodhiruci and Ratnamati, three persons together in the palace at Luoyang, translated it simultaneously, with Buddhasānta conveying the words and the Emperor personally taking down the writing. The entry in Changfang's catalogue recording it in both the listings for Bodhiruci and Ratnamati is mistaken; they are now combined as one translation.") In Bodhiruci's catalogue.
*Maitreya-paripṛcchā-sūtra-śāstra* (*Mile pusa suowen jing lun*), five fascicles (also in six fascicles, or seven fascicles, or ten fascicles), translated by Bodhiruci, an Indian of the Northern Wei; sole translation.
The above comments on the *Maitreya-paripṛcchā-sūtra*, which is the forty-first assembly of the *Mahāratnakūṭa-sūtra*.
*Mahāyāna-ratnakūṭa-sūtra-śāstra* (*Dacheng baoji jing lun*), four fascicles, translated by Bodhiruci, Indian Tripiṭaka master of the Northern Wei; first translation, out of two translations one is missing.
The above comments on the older single-fascicle *Mahāratnakūṭa-sūtra*, which is the forty-third assembly of the *Ratnakūṭa*.
*Ratnacūḍa-paripṛcchā-caturbharma-sūtra-śāstra* (*Baoji pusa sifa jing lun*), one fascicle, composed by Bodhisattva Vasubandhu, translated by Vimokṣasena and others, Indian Tripiṭaka master of the Northern Wei, drawn from the preface record; sole translation.
The above comments on the "Ratnacūḍa" chapter of the *Mahāsaṃnipāta-sūtra*; it is now incorporated into the *Ratnakūṭa*, as the forty-seventh assembly.
(The preface record to the treatise states: "In the third year of the Xinghe era of the Wei, with the cyclical signs xinyou, in the ninth month, the new moon being gengwu, Tripiṭaka Dharma Master Vimokṣasena, a person of Oḍḍiyāna and of kṣatriya royal lineage; Gautama Ruci, a Brahmin of Central India; the Great Being Protector of the Dharma, Senior General of the Agile Cavalry, Specially Advanced Equal in Rank to the Three Excellencies, Palace Attendant and Commander of the Censorate, Gao Zhongmi of Bohai; and the śramaṇa Tanlin, a person who loves the Dharma—cleric and lay joining together—in the Jinhua Monastery within the city of Ye, translated four thousand nine hundred and ninety-seven graphs. All catalogues stating that Bodhiruci translated it are mistaken; it is now corrected following the preface record.")
The above three treatises, in ten fascicles, are in the same case.
*Buddhabhūmi-sūtra-śāstra* (*Fodi jing lun*), seven fascicles (composed by Bodhisattva Śīlabhadra and others to comment on the *Buddhabhūmi-sūtra*), translated by Xuanzang, Tripiṭaka master of the Great Tang, drawn from the *Neidian lu*; sole translation.
*Vajracchedikā-śāstra* (*Jingang bore lun*), two fascicles, composed by Bodhisattva Asaṅga, translated by Dharmagupta, Indian Tripiṭaka master of the Sui, drawn from the *Neidian lu*; sole translation.
*Vajracchedikā-prajñāpāramitā-sūtra-śāstra-kārikā* (*Nengduan jingang boreboluomiduo jing lun song*), one fascicle, composed by Bodhisattva Asaṅga, translated by Yijing, Tripiṭaka master of the Great Tang, newly compiled into the catalogue.
The above three treatises, in ten fascicles, are in the same case.
*Vajracchedikā-prajñāpāramitā-sūtra-śāstra* (*Jingang bore boluomi jing lun*), three fascicles, composed by Bodhisattva Vasubandhu, translated by Bodhiruci, Indian Tripiṭaka master of the Northern Wei; first translation.
*Vajracchedikā-prajñāpāramitā-sūtra-śāstra* (*Nengduan jingang boreboluomiduo jing lun*), three fascicles, verses by Bodhisattva Asaṅga, commentary by Bodhisattva Vasubandhu, translated by Yijing, Tripiṭaka master of the Great Tang; second translation, newly compiled into the catalogue.
The above two treatises and the verses are different translations of the same text.
*Vajracchedikā-prajñāpāramitā-sūtra-saṃgrahārtha-śāstra* (*Jingang bore boluomi jing pozhuozhuo buhuai jiaming lun*), two fascicles (composed by Bodhisattva Guṇada, also called the *Guṇada-śāstra*), translated by Divākara, Central Indian Tripiṭaka master of the Great Tang, drawn from the *Da Zhou lu*; sole translation.
(Although the composers of the above four treatises and verses differ, they all comment on the *Vajracchedikā-prajñāpāramitā-sūtra*. There is also the *Vajrarṣi-śāstra* (*Jingangxian lun*) in ten fascicles; on examining its text and doctrine, it was composed by Bodhiruci, Tripiṭaka master of the Northern Wei, to comment on Vasubandhu's treatise; since it is not a translation transmitted from an Indic text, it is not included here.)
*Mañjuśrīparipṛcchā-bodhi-sūtra-śāstra* (*Wenshushili pusa wen puti jing lun*), one fascicle, also titled *Gayāśīrṣa-sūtra-śāstra*, composed by Bodhisattva Vasubandhu, translated by Bodhiruci, Tripiṭaka master of the Northern Wei; sole translation.
*Saddharmapuṇḍarīka-sūtra-śāstra* (*Miaofa lianhua jing lun*), one fascicle, composed by Bodhisattva Vasubandhu, translated by Ratnamati, Central Indian Tripiṭaka master of the Northern Wei, together with Senglang and others; second translation.
The above five treatises, in ten fascicles, are in the same case.
*Saddharmapuṇḍarīka-sūtra-śāstra* (*Fahua jing lun*), two fascicles (having verses of taking refuge at the beginning; or in one fascicle), translated by Bodhiruci, North Indian Tripiṭaka master of the Northern Wei, together with Tanlin and others; compiled into the supplements; second translation.
The above two treatises are different translations of the same text.
(Regarding the *Lotus Treatise* in five fascicles newly translated by Tripiṭaka Master Yijing, the text has been sought but not yet obtained.)

*Nirvāṇa-sūtra-bhūtābhūta-gāthā-śāstra* (*Niepan jing benyou jinwu ji lun*), one fascicle (commenting on one gāthā of the *Nirvāṇa-sūtra*), translated by Paramārtha, Indian Tripiṭaka master of the Liang; sole translation.
*Yu jiao jing lun* (*Bequeathed Teaching Sūtra Commentary*), one fascicle, commenting on the *Bequeathed Teaching Sūtra*, translated by Paramārtha, Indian Tripiṭaka master of the Chen; compiled into the supplements; sole translation.

(The opening of the above treatise states: "Tripiṭaka Dharma Master Vimokṣasena, the Brahmin Gautama Ruci, and the śramaṇa Tanlin who cherishes and respects the Dharma, in the Jinhua Monastery within the city of Ye, in the third year of the Xinghe era of the Wei, with the cyclical signs xinyou, the moon established in xu, on the thirteenth day after the new moon being gengwu, translated one thousand one hundred and ten words.
