Three works. The various catalogues all say late Jin, without knowing in the reign of which emperor.
*Sūtra on the Precepts of Kāśyapa* (Kāśyapa-śīla-sūtra), one fascicle (also titled *Mahābhikṣu-sūtra*, also titled *Sūtra on True and False Śramaṇas*; first translation, appears in the Shixing Catalogue).
The one work above, in one fascicle, lacks an extant text.
Translated by the śramaṇa Shi Tuigong. He translated one work, the *Sūtra on the Precepts of Kāśyapa*, said to be at the end of the Jin, but the year of which emperor is not clear.
*Sūtra on the Buddha's Explaining to the Brahmin Ambaṣṭha*, one fascicle (an alternate translation of the thirteenth fascicle of the *Dīrghāgama*, appears in the Zhao Catalogue).
The one work above, in one fascicle, lacks an extant text.
Translated by the śramaṇa Shi Fayong. He translated one work, the *Sūtra on the Brahmin Ambaṣṭha*, said to have been produced at the end of the Jin; the year of which emperor is likewise not clear.
*Nāgasena-bhikṣu-sūtra*, two fascicles (or called *Nāgasena-sūtra*, or in three fascicles; first translation, appears in Sengyou's catalogue of lost translators, categorized under Sage and Saint Anthologies, extant).
*Dhāraṇī-padākāra-sūtra*, one fascicle (Sengyou lacks the character *zhang* [padā-]; appears in Sengyou's catalogue of lost translators; third translation, same text as the *Dhāraṇī-mantra-sūtra*, Mahāyāna sūtra, text lacking).
The two works above, in three fascicles. In Changfang's and other catalogues, there are in total fifty-three works in fifty-seven fascicles listed as anonymous translations of the Eastern Jin. Now, removing the two works in three fascicles [just mentioned], the remaining fifty-one works in fifty-four fascicles were all erroneously added by Changfang's catalogue, or had already been recorded in the catalogue of anonymous translations of the Later Han, or have known translators, or are extracts, and so forth, as listed in detail to the right:
*Sūtra on the Contemplation of the Buddha of Immeasurable Life* (Amitāyurdhyāna-sūtra), *Sūtra on the Names of the Three Thousand Buddhas of the Three Periods*, *Sūtra on the Causes and Conditions of the Thousand Buddhas*, *Sūtra on the Names of the Fifty-Three Buddhas*, *Sūtra on the Names of the Eight Categories of Buddhas*, *Sūtra on the Names of the Buddhas of the Ten Directions*, *Sūtra on the Names of the Thousand Buddhas of the Bhadrakalpa*, *Sūtra on Praising the Names of the One Hundred and Seventy Buddhas*, *Sūtra on the Names of the Buddhas of the South*, *Sūtra on the Names of the Buddhas for Eradicating Sins and Attaining Blessings*, *Sūtra on the Various Prohibitive Vinaya Precepts for Bhikṣus*, *Essentials of the Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya for Bhikṣus*,
*Sūtra on Upāli's Inquiries to the Buddha*, *Sūtra on the Decorum for Śrāmaṇeras and the Ten Precepts for Bhikṣuṇīs*, *Sūtra on Receiving the Precepts of the Ten Virtues*, *Sūtra on the Precepts for Śrāmaṇerikās*, *Sūtra on the Five Precepts for the Worthy*, *Sūtra on the Decorum for Upāsakas*, *Sūtra on Obtaining Prajñā*, *Sūtra on the Contemplation of the Worldly Lokasthāna*, *Sūtra of the Section on Mindfulness of the Buddha in the Pratyutpanna-samādhi*, *Yogasthāna-sūtra*, *Sūtra on the Essentials of Dhyāna Rebuking Desire*, *Sesame Oil Spell Bound by the Seven Buddhas*, *Five Dragons' Mantra Sūtra for Expelling Poisons and Toothache Spell*, *Spiritual Spell of the Seven Buddhas for Pacifying the Household*, *Spell for Pacifying the Household* (the above twenty spell works in twenty-nine fascicles were already present in the catalogue of anonymous translations of the Later Han; being recorded again here shows they are duplicates),
*Mantra Sūtra on Taking the Three Refuges and Five Precepts Worn on the Body for Protection*, *Mantra Sūtra on the Seventy-Two Thousand Spirit Kings Protecting Bhikṣus*, *Mantra Sūtra on the One Hundred and Twenty Thousand Spirit Kings Protecting Bhikṣuṇīs*, *Mantra Sūtra on the One Hundred Knots Spirit Kings Protecting the Body*, *Sūtra on the Spirit Kings of Palaces and Houses Guarding Left and Right*, *Four Directions Spiritual Mantra Sūtra on the Causes and Conditions of Blocking Graves*, *Great Spiritual Mantra Sūtra for Subduing Māras with the Seal*, *Great Spiritual Mantra Sūtra of Maṇiradana*, *Spiritual Mantra Sūtra for Summoning the Dragons of the Five Directions to Gather Epidemic Poisons*, *Spiritual Divination Sūtra of Brahmadeva*, *Puguang-jing* (the above eleven works in eleven fascicles are all the *Great Consecration Sūtra* translated by Śrīmitra, from the first fascicle to the eleventh),
*Sūtra on the Samādhi of the Bequeathed Teachings*, two fascicles (or called *Sūtra on the Vinaya and Dharma of the Samādhi of the Bequeathed Teachings*, translated by Faju of the Western Jin, also listed in the catalogue of apocrypha); *Anāgāmin-sūtra*, two fascicles (translated by Zhiyan of the Jin, also listed in the apocrypha catalogue); *Adbhuta-dharmaparyāya-sūtra*, two fascicles (or simply called *Adbhuta-sūtra*, already translated twice, one extant and one lost);
*Sūtra on the Sequential Methods and Expedient Means of Dhyāna Concentration* (translated by An Shigao of the Later Han); *Spiritual Mantra Sūtra of the Seven Buddhas* (translated by Zhi Qian of the Wu); *Sūtra on the Five Blessings of the Worthy* (translated by Bai Fazu of the Western Jin); *Maṇiradana Spirit King Mantra Massage Sūtra* (or lacking the character *wang* [King]; translated by Zhu Tanwulan); *Sūtra on the Six Pāramitās of Original Conduct* (translated by Guṇabhadra of the Song); *Sūtra on the Five Precepts for Upāsakas* (translated by Juqu Jingsheng of the Song); *Sūtra on the Names of the Spirit Kings of the Three Refuges and Five Precepts* (an extract from the *Consecration Sūtra*);
*Samādhi Sūtra on Fixed Intention* (extracted from the *Sūtra on Severing Knots on the Ten Stages*). Those from here down are newly attached to this catalogue:
*Viniścaya-vinaya-sūtra*, one fascicle (also titled *Destruction of All Mind and Consciousness*; first translation, same text and alternate translation of the Upāli Section in the *Ratnakūṭa*; Sengyou states that various catalogues all say it was produced in Dunhuang without revealing the translator; biographies say it was in the Jin dynasty, though not clear under which emperor);
