All these are newly gathered sūtras of lost translators from the catalogue of the Liang dynasty śramaṇa Sengyou. In Sengyou's original catalogue, those newly gathered by Sengyou totaled 1,306 works in 1,570 fascicles. Now, carefully searching and investigating the remaining 999 works in 1,230 fascicles reveals that most are various separate extracts, or had already been recorded in the catalogues of lost translations by Fei Changfang and others, or had their translators indicated in the catalogues of specific dynasties. Aside from these, there are 307 works in 340 fascicles that, upon searching the catalogues of Changfang and others, were never recorded. They are newly gathered here as having lost origins. However, Sengyou's catalogue only states that the translations are lost without specifying the dynastic period; here they are provisionally appended to the end of the Song catalogue, in the hope of avoiding omissions.
