Further, anthologies and biographies composed in this land (40 works in 368 fascicles; since they all assist the orthodox teaching, they are accordingly compiled into the catalogue as supplements recovering omissions).
The above forms the seventeenth fascicle.

Hīnayāna śāstras (36 works in 698 fascicles and 72 wrappers);
Anthologies of sages and saints (108 works in 541 fascicles and 57 wrappers).
In total, counting the Mahāyāna and Hīnayāna sūtras, vinaya, śāstras, and biographies of sages and saints that are currently admitted into the canon:
Total: 1,076 works in 5,048 fascicles and 480 wrappers (The reason the count of Mahāyāna sūtra works here admitted to the canon differs from the number in the previous extensive catalogue is that the various texts of the Mahāratnakūṭa-sūtra were formerly combined into one work, so in their original count they were 49 works in the catalogue above, whereas here they are combined into one work, thus causing a difference of 48 fewer).
The above forms the twentieth fascicle.
