Kosa-śāstra-kārikā (Verses of the Abhidharmakośa), 1 fascicle.
Translated by the Indian Tripiṭaka master Paramārtha under the Chen. First translation.
The above work has had two translations; one is extant and one is missing.
Kośa-śāstra Basic Text, 16 fascicles. Translated by the Indian Tripiṭaka master Paramārtha under the Chen.
The above: in terms of the basic treatise of the Kośa, that is the aforementioned verses. As to why it is now said to be a basic text of the treatise in sixteen fascicles, the reason remains unclear.
Abhidharma-hṛdaya, 16 fascicles (or 13 fascicles).
Translated by the Kashmīri Tripiṭaka master Saṅghadeva under the Fu Qin. (First translation.)
Samyuktābhidharma, 13 fascicles.
Translated by the Eastern Jin śramaṇa Faxian together with Jñānabhadra (Buddhabhadra). First translation.
Samyuktābhidharmahṛdaya, 13 fascicles (originally 10 fascicles, supplemented to 13 or 14 fascicles).
Translated by the foreign śramaṇa Īśvara and others under the Song. Third translation.
(The above: Changfang's catalogue states: "In the reign of Emperor Wen, the foreign śramaṇa Īśvara translated up to the Chapter on Selection, but due to obstructive circumstances could not finish and ceased. Later, Guṇavarman continued the translation and completed it, forming thirteen fascicles"; see Gaoseng zhuan. In Changfang's catalogue, the texts of Īśvara and Guṇavarman are preserved separately, and the Tang Neidian lu and the Fanjing tu agree with this. We now consider that because Guṇavarman merely continued what was previously missing and did not translate it anew, preserving them separately before and after is logically inappropriate. We now combine them into one text. As for the fourth translation that is currently circulating, Changfang's catalogue states: "In the reign of Emperor Wen of the Song, the Indian śramaṇa Saṅghavarman arrived at Jianye in the tenth year of Yuanjia. Skilled in the Vinayapiṭaka and well-versed in the Samyuktābhidharmahṛdaya, Huiguan of Daochang Monastery, knowing that Varman possessed an exquisite understanding of the Samyuktābhidharmahṛdaya and recited it fluently, requested a retranslation because the earlier Tripiṭaka master and others, though they had translated it, had not yet had time to transcribe it. Baoyun interpreted, and Huiguan himself received it by brush. Working together to the end, they completed it; hence we know that the currently circulating text is this later text.")
There have been four translations in all; one is extant and three are missing.
Tridharmakāyāvatāra-śāstra (Sānfǎdù lùn), 2 fascicles (also called Sanfa without the word lun).
Translated by the Indian Tripiṭaka master Dharmatrāta under the Fu Qin. (First translation.)
The above work has had two translations; one is extant and one is missing.
Duzi daoren wen lun (Treatise on Questions of the Vātsīputrīya Renunciant), 1 fascicle.
Translated by the Northern Wei brāhmaṇa Gautama Prajñāruci. (Single translation.)
Subhadra-nidāna-śāstra, 2 fascicles.
Translated by the Indian Tripiṭaka master Yaśodhara and others under the Yuwen clan of the Northern Zhou. Single translation.
