He said to the Buddha: "If all dharmas are thus, when bodhisattvas protect and transform sentient beings, are they transforming sentient beings?" "Great King! The dharmatā of form, feeling, perception, volitional formations, consciousness, permanence, bliss, self, and purity does not abide in form, does not abide in non-form, does not abide in neither-form-nor-non-form, and likewise for feeling, perception, volitional formations, and consciousness, it does not abide in neither-abiding-nor-non-abiding. Why is this? Because non-form is suchness, and neither-form-nor-non-form is suchness. Because of conventional truth and because of the three designations, one is named as seeing sentient beings; because the nature of all beings is real, even the buddhas, the three vehicles, the seven worthy stages, and the eight noble persons are also named as seen, and the sixty-two views are also named as seen. Great King! If one names and sees all dharmas through names, up to the buddhas, three vehicles, and four kinds of beings, this is not not seeing all dharmas."
