"Good sons! Regarding this store of merit, even if opening knights of the thirteenth stage of consecration, as numerous as the sands of immeasurable Gaṅgā rivers, were to explain this merit, what the king has spoken of is like a single drop in the sea among hundreds of thousands of koṭis of parts. Now I have briefly recounted the merit of a fraction of its meaning, which brings great benefit to all sentient beings and has also been affirmed and commended by immeasurable Tathāgatas of the past, future, and present. That the three worthy stages and ten noble persons praise it immeasurably is due to the merit of this fraction of meaning explained by King Candraprabha.
