1.51

「善男子！此十四忍，十方世界過去、現在一切菩薩之所修行，一切諸佛之所顯示，未來諸佛、菩薩摩訶薩亦復如是。若佛、菩薩不由此門得一切智者，無有是處。何以故？諸佛、菩薩無異路故。

"Good sons! These fourteen kṣāntis are what all bodhisattvas of the ten directions in the past and present cultivate, and what all buddhas reveal; so too it will be for the buddhas and bodhisattvas mahāsattvas of the future. If a buddha or bodhisattva does not attain all-knowledge through this gateway, there is no such possibility. Why is this? Because for buddhas and bodhisattvas there is no other path.
