The Buddha said: "Great King! Form, feeling, perception, karmic formations, and consciousness are permanence, bliss, self, and purity; yet the dharmatā abides neither in form nor in non-form. Feeling, perception, karmic formations, and consciousness are permanence, bliss, self, and purity, yet it also abides neither in purity nor in non-purity. Why is this? Because all dharmatā is completely empty, it exists through worldly truth and exists through the three designations. The dharmas of the aggregates, sense realms, and elements of all sentient beings produce meritorious, non-meritorious, and immovable actions; their causes and effects all exist. The various practices cultivated by the sages and saints of the three vehicles, up to and including the fruit of buddhahood, are all called existing. The sixty-two views are also called existing. Great King! If one is attached to names and marks and discriminates among dharmas, the six destinies, the four forms of birth, and the practices and fruits of the three vehicles, this is simply not seeing the true nature of all dharmas."
