"Great King! The words, sentences, and verses of this Prajñāpāramitā are spoken in unison by a hundred Buddhas, a thousand Buddhas, and a hundred thousand million all Buddhas. If a person were to fill with the seven treasures three-thousandfold great-thousandfold worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges to make gifts, so that all sentient beings in the great-thousandfold worlds attain the fruit of an arhat, that would not equal a person who gives rise to even a single thought-moment of pure faith in this sūtra, much less one who can receive, uphold, read, recite, and understand a single sentence. Why is this? The nature of words is free [from words]; there is no mark of words; they are neither dharma nor non-dharma. Because wisdom is empty, the bodhisattva is also empty. Why is this? Within the ten stages, each stage has an initial birth, a dwelling birth, and a final birth; these thirty births are all completely empty. Omniscience is also entirely empty."
