"Furthermore, a bodhisattva of the nature lineage cultivates the ten pāramitās and gives rise to ten antidotes, namely: contemplating the body, feelings, mind, and dharmas as impure, suffering, impermanent, and non-self; counteracting the three unwholesome roots of greed, anger, and delusion by generating the three wholesome roots of giving, loving-kindness, and wisdom; and contemplating the three periods of time with patience toward past causes, patience toward present causes and effects, and patience toward future effects. Bodhisattvas at this stage broadly benefit sentient beings, transcending the notion of self-view, person-view, sentient beings, and so forth, unable to be broken by the inverted notions of non-Buddhists."
