"Great King! In future ages, kings, ministers, and the fourfold assembly of disciples will themselves create the causes and conditions for destroying the Dharma and destroying the state, and will personally suffer the consequences; it is not the fault of the Buddha-Dharma. Devas and nāgas will abandon them and depart, and the five defilements will increasingly multiply. Were I to explain this in full, an entire kalpa would not suffice."
