1.82

須菩提。於意云何。菩薩莊嚴佛土不。不也世尊。何以故。莊嚴佛土者則非莊嚴。是名莊嚴。是故須菩提。諸菩薩摩訶薩。應如是生清淨心。不應住色生心。不應住聲香味觸法生心。應無所住而生其心。

"Subhūti, what do you think? Does a bodhisattva adorn Buddha lands?"
"No, Bhagavat. Why is this? What is called adorning Buddha lands is not adornment; this is called adornment."
"Therefore, Subhūti, all bodhisattva-mahāsattvas should produce a pure mind in this way: they should not produce a mind abiding in forms; they should not produce a mind abiding in sounds, scents, tastes, tangible objects, or dharmas; they should produce a mind without abiding in anything."
