1.97

名中無有義　義上復無名
金剛喻真智　能破惡堅貞
若到波羅岸　入理出迷情
智人心自覺　愚者外求聲

Within names, there is no meaning;
Upon meaning, there is again no name.
The diamond is an analogy for true wisdom,
Able to shatter evil firmness.
If one reaches the other shore,
One enters principle and leaves confused passions behind.
The wise person is self-awakened in mind;
The foolish one seeks sound externally.
