2.178

不失功德因　及彼勝果報
得勝忍不失　以得無垢果
示勝福德相　是故說譬喻
是福德無報　如是受不取

“They do not lose the cause of merit,
Nor its supreme karmic retribution;
Having attained supreme patience, they do not lose it,
Because they attain the immaculate fruit.
To show the characteristics of supreme merit,
Therefore the simile is spoken:
This merit has no retribution;
Thus received, it is not grasped.”
