1.37

經。須菩提至如所教住　贊曰。此勸修住也無住布施。順法性修。既如虛空。其福無限。因之與果。福德如斯。是故菩薩。作應如我所說之教。於無相施。住心修行。勿疑無福。

[Sūtra:] "Subhūti, ... should abide as instructed."
[Commentary:] This is an exhortation to cultivate and abide. Giving without abiding is cultivated in accordance with the Dharma-nature; since it is like space, its merit is boundless. Cause and fruit being so, the merit is like this. Therefore, a bodhisattva should act in accordance with the teaching I have spoken, resting their mind in signless giving and cultivating it, without doubting that it lacks merit.
