經。若取法相至眾生壽者　贊曰。次下別顯。於中有二。初明取法相。後顯取非法相。此初也。然前總云。若心取相。即前所說。四種法明。四種不離法與非法故。此別明法非法相。若執教法。既為法執。由此便生我等相也。

Sūtra: "If they grasp at the mark of dharmas [...] a sentient being, or a life-span." Commentary: Next is the specific explanation below, which contains two parts: first, clarifying grasping at the mark of dharmas; second, revealing grasping at the mark of non-dharma. This is the first part. The previous overall statement, 'If their minds grasp at marks,' refers to the four kinds of dharmas explained before, clarifying that the four kinds do not depart from dharma and non-dharma. This specifically clarifies the marks of dharma and non-dharma. If one grasps at the teaching, it is already dharma-grasping; from this, marks of a self and so on will arise.
