2.41

經。何以故　贊曰。下明忍相及生忍處。於中有二。初徵後釋。此初也。於何處故而生忍相。既令生忍。而復言非何以故也。

Sūtra: "Why is that?" Commentary: Below clarifies the marks of forbearance and the loci where forbearance arises. In this there are two parts: first an inquiry, then an explanation. This is the first. In what locus does the mark of forbearance arise? Since it causes forbearance to arise, yet goes on to say "not," why is that?
