1.33

經。若菩薩不住相布施其福德不可思量　第三釋也。住相有漏果報有邊不住無漏故。福聚無量也。

[Sūtra:] "If a bodhisattva practices giving without abiding in characteristics, their merit is immeasurable:" The third section is the explanation. Abiding in characteristics is contaminated, and its karmic retribution is limited; not abiding [in characteristics] is uncontaminated, and therefore the accumulation of merit is measureless.
