3.31

自此已下顯慈悲境界中有三。一遠離最上第一義樂。此是慈緣之境。即甚深十句等是。二遠樂境故。具諸苦聚悲緣拔苦之境。而諸凡夫已下二十句是。三彼二顛倒凡夫可愍已下是。慈樂境中十句者。初一句總餘九句別。依論消文。

From here onward is revealed the sphere of benevolence and compassion, in which there are three [aspects]: first, being far removed from the supreme bliss of the ultimate truth—this is the object of benevolence, namely the ten profound lines and so forth; second, because of being far from the sphere of bliss, possessing a mass of all sufferings—this is the object of compassion in eradicating suffering, which is the twenty lines from "yet ordinary beings" onward; third, from "those two inverted ordinary beings are pitiable" onward. As for the ten lines on the sphere of the bliss of benevolence, the first line is general and the remaining nine lines are particular, parsing the text according to the treatise.
