經。第八橫者至之所損害　八起屍相損。此人不定壽業是行毒藥厭呪增上果。若遇順緣修福等資助。則不為毒藥厭呪中害。壽命延長。如其不爾則為毒藥厭呪中害。壽命短促故為橫死。

Sūtra: "The eighth untimely death is... being harmed by."
Eight: harm by vetālas. This person's karma for lifespan is indefinite; it is the dominant result of practicing poisons, sorcery, and incantations. If they encounter supportive conditions such as cultivating merit to aid them, they will not be harmed by poisons, sorcery, and incantations, and their lifespan will be prolonged. If not, they will be harmed by poisons, sorcery, and incantations, and their lifespan will be short; therefore it is an untimely death.
