1.62

經。大德至爾許功德　二懼他不信。或有眾生無明所覆。信根殘缺昏醉𧄼瞢於佛深妙境中作無利語。云何但念一如來名。便獲無邊殊勝功德。由此疑惑而自毀傷。

Sūtra: “Venerable One [...] such merit.”
Second: Fearing that others will not believe. There may be sentient beings covered by ignorance, deficient in the faculty of faith, muddled, bewildered, and dazed, who utter unprofitable words regarding the Buddha's profound and wondrous realm: “How could merely reciting the name of a single Tathāgata bring boundless, extraordinary merit?” Due to this doubt, they harm themselves.
