經。由昔人間至暫得現前　四聞名往救。謂昔在人間曾得暫聞藥師佛號。後遇惡友造無施業。雖生惡趣由同佛名種子力故。還得憶念藥師如來。

Sūtra: “Because in their past human lives […] up to: momentarily present [in memory].” / Fourth: hearing the name and coming to the rescue. That is, formerly while in the human realm, they once had the opportunity to momentarily hear the name of Bhaiṣajyaguru Buddha. Later, meeting bad companions, they created the karma of not practicing generosity. Although born in bad destinies, by the seed-power of having heard the Buddha’s name, they are able again to remember Bhaiṣajyaguru Tathāgata.
