The second subsection, 'He pursues the path of the form realm without taking it to be superior', clarifies practicing the non-path in terms of good causes and good fruits. The form and formless realms are good fruits, and 'the path' refers to good causes. It intends to clarify that although the mahāsattva manifests dwelling there, he cannot consider them superior.
