以因緣故諸法生　此句釋也。肇曰。有亦不由緣。無亦不由緣。以法非有無故由因緣生。論曰。法從緣故不有。緣起故不無也。

"Because of causes and conditions, all phenomena arise." This line explains the meaning. Sengzhao says: "Existence does not rely on conditions, nor does nonexistence rely on conditions. Because phenomena are neither existent nor nonexistent, they arise from causes and conditions. The treatise states: 'Because phenomena arise from conditions, they are not existent; because they arise from conditions, they are not nonexistent.'"
