忍辱是菩薩淨土。菩薩成佛時三十二相莊嚴眾生來生其國　肇曰。忍辱顏和故繫以容相耳。豈直形報而已哉。

"Patience is the bodhisattva's pure land; when the bodhisattva attains buddhahood, sentient beings adorned with the thirty-two marks come to be born in his land." Sengzhao says: "Through patience, one's countenance is harmonious, and therefore it is linked to bodily appearance. How could it merely be a physical retribution?"
