此下第二淨名助佛闡揚淨土之化。九品經文大。分為二。初三品室外訶彈。後六品室內攝受。又先析仕庶。次訶聲聞。後訶菩薩。三品淺深之次也。此以歎淨□益物。方便□□品也。

From here on, the second section is Jingming assisting the Buddha in propagating the transformation of the pure land. The nine chapters of sūtra text are broadly divided into two: the first three chapters are censures and rebukes outside the chamber, and the latter six chapters are gather-and-reception within the chamber. Furthermore, first he analyzes officials and commoners, next he censures the śrāvakas, and later he censures the bodhisattvas; this is the sequence of the shallow and deep across the three chapters. This is the chapter praising Jing[ming's] benefiting of beings through upāya […].
