1.225

入深法門善於智度。通達方便大願成就。明了眾生心之所趣。又能分別諸根利鈍　五二智深也。實智深入智度圓滿。權智方便弘誓成就。此自行二智也。了眾生心同歸本覺見真也。分別利鈍隨根教化照俗也。此二化他二智也。

"He entered profound dharma gates and was skilled in the perfection of wisdom. He was well-versed in upāya and had fulfilled his great vows. He clearly understood the tendencies of sentient beings' minds, and was also able to distinguish the sharpness and dullness of their faculties." The fifth is the depth of the two wisdoms: real wisdom penetrates deeply and the perfection of wisdom is fully complete; expedient wisdom uses upāya and the vast vows are fulfilled. These are the two wisdoms for one's own practice. Clearly understanding that the minds of sentient beings equally return to original enlightenment is seeing the ultimate truth; distinguishing sharpness and dullness to teach according to their faculties illuminates the conventional. These two are the two wisdoms for transforming others.
