若在婆羅門婆羅門中尊除其我慢　肇曰。秦言外意。以道學為業。或在家或出家。苦行多恃已道術。我慢自蔽沒生死流。

"When among brāhmaṇas, he was the most honored among brāhmaṇas, eliminating their arrogance of self." Sengzhao says: "In the language of Qin, 'outer intention.' They take the study of the path as their occupation, either staying at home or leaving home. In their ascetic practices, they mostly rely on their own arts of the path; blinded by arrogance of self, they sink into the stream of birth and death."
