若在內官內官中尊化正宮女　什曰。外國法取歷世忠良耆長。有德為內官化正宮女。嗜色之業報以女身。若不正修豈能出離。

"When among court officials, he was the most honored among court officials, transforming and rectifying the palace ladies." Kumārajīva says: "The custom of foreign lands is to select elders of generational loyalty and integrity who possess virtue to serve as court officials, transforming and rectifying the palace ladies. The karma of craving sensual lust brings retribution in a female body; if they do not cultivate rectitude, how could they attain transcendence?"
