以大悲心讚于大乘。念報佛恩不斷三寶。然後說法　三結說益也。肇曰。夫大悲所以建。大乘所以駕。佛恩所以報三寶所以隆。皆由明了人根善開實相。而目連備闕斯事故以誨之。

"With a mind of great compassion praising the Great Vehicle, mindful of repaying the Buddha's kindness without cutting off the Three Jewels, and only then speaking the Dharma." The third part concludes with the benefit of preaching. Sengzhao says: "Now, the establishment of great compassion, the mounting of the Great Vehicle, the repaying of the Buddha's kindness, and the flourishing of the Three Jewels—all arise from clearly understanding the faculties of people and skillfully disclosing the true mark. Since Maudgalyāyana was completely deficient in these matters, he was therefore instructed on them."
