"All sentient beings are suchness; all dharmas are also suchness; all sages and worthies are also suchness; and even Maitreya is suchness." This is the third part, refuting in terms of the equality of suchness; the text has two parts. First, generally raising equality. All sentient beings are sentient; all dharmas are insentient; all sages and worthies are the two vehicles; Maitreya is the Great Vehicle. Sengzhao says: "Though the myriad varieties differ, there is none that is not suchness. Suchness equalizes right and wrong, and unifies foolishness and wisdom, to establish the meaning of neither prophecy nor attainment."
