樂廣行施。樂堅持戒。樂忍辱柔和。樂懃集善根。樂禪定不亂。樂離垢明惠。此二明六度正行也。什曰。世俗惠中不能生樂。要得無漏惠離塵垢。即至樂自生也。

"Delight in extensively practicing giving; delight in firmly upholding the precepts; delight in patience and gentleness; delight in diligently gathering roots of goodness; delight in meditative concentration without distraction; delight in immaculate, bright wisdom." This second clarifies the correct practice of the six perfections. Shi says: "Joy cannot arise within worldly wisdom. One must attain uncontaminated wisdom that is free from dust and defilement, whereupon supreme joy arises naturally."
