樂隨護道意。樂饒益眾生。樂敬養師　此三明樂修出道文三。此初內護道意。下益眾生上敬養師並行本也。肇曰。將護無上道心令無差失。

"Delight in guarding the intention for the Way; delight in benefiting sentient beings; delight in revering and making offerings to teachers." This third clarifies delight in practicing the way of transcendence. The text has three [parts]. This first is internally guarding the intention for the Way, while below benefiting sentient beings and above revering and making offerings to teachers are both the roots of practice. Zhao says: "Guarding the intention for the unexcelled Way so that it does not fail or lapse."
