示行慳貪而挨內外所有不惜身命。示行毀禁而安住淨戒。乃至小罪猶懷大懼。示行嗔恚而常慈忍。示行懈怠而勤修功德。示行亂意而常念定。示行愚癡而道違世間出世間慧　四十蔽也。肇曰。示行六蔽而不乖六度。

"He demonstrates practicing stinginess yet gives away all inner and outer possessions without begrudging body or life. He demonstrates violating precepts yet dwells securely in pure precepts, fearing even minor faults with great trepidation. He demonstrates practicing anger yet remains ever compassionate and patient. He demonstrates practicing indolence yet diligently cultivates merit. He demonstrates practicing a distracted mind yet remains ever mindfully concentrated. He demonstrates practicing folly yet penetrates worldly and world-transcending wisdom." Fourth, the six obscurations. Zhao says: "He demonstrates practicing the six obscurations without departing from the six perfections."
