"He demonstrates practicing flattery and deceit yet is skilled in expedient means, according with the meaning of all sūtras." The sixth: upāya. Zhao says: "Externally he manifests conforming to secular flattery and deceit; internally he truly accords with the expedient means of the sūtras."
