願得世尊所食之餘。欲於娑婆世界施作佛事。使此樂小法者得弘大道。亦使如來名聲普聞　此三述其請事並如文。

“‘May I obtain the leftovers of what the World-Honoured One has eaten, desiring to bestow and perform Buddha-activity in the Sahā world, so that those here who delight in lesser dharmas may magnify the Great Way, and also that the Tathāgata’s renown may be heard everywhere.’”
