唯然世尊。願賜少法還於彼土當念如來　此下第三請法還國。文三。一請。二善。三稱歎還國。此初請也。肇曰。既知佛事之難議故欲請法而返土。將宣揚如來不思議道。令本國眾生念佛功德也。

"Indeed, World-Honoured One, we pray that you bestow a small Dharma so that when returning to that land, we may be mindful of the Tathāgata." Below, the third part is requesting the Dharma and returning to their land. The text has three parts: first, requesting; second, goodness; third, praising and returning to their land. This is the first, requesting. Sengzhao says: "Having learned that the Buddha's work is hard to conceive, they wish to request the Dharma and return to their land, to propagate the Tathāgata's inconceivable Way, causing the sentient beings of their native land to be mindful of the Buddha's merits."
