非福田非不福田。非應供養非不應供養。非取非捨。非有相非無相。同真際等法性。不可稱不可量。過諸稱量　無心福物非福田。有求見益非不福。無證無得非應供。德洽無邊非不應取之則失。真捨之則乖道。豈有相可見無相可無。斯同真際等法性越稱量之境哉。

"It is neither a field of merit nor not a field of merit; it neither should receive offerings nor should not receive offerings; it is neither grasping nor renunciation; it is neither with characteristics nor without characteristics; it is identical with the reality limit and equal to the dharma nature; it cannot be praised and cannot be measured, transcending all appraisals and measurements." / Having no mind to benefit things, it is not a field of merit; yet those with requests see benefit, so it is not unmeritorious. Having no realization and no attainment, it is not an object of offering; yet its virtue permeates boundlessly, so it is not unworthy of offering. To grasp it is to lose the true; to renounce it is to deviate from the Dao. How could there be characteristics to be seen, or non-characteristics to be negated? It is identical with the reality limit, equal to the dharma nature, and transcends the realm of praise and measurement!
