維摩詰言。菩薩如是。雖生不淨佛土為化眾生不與愚闇而共合也。但滅眾生煩惱闇耳　此四合喻能釋。二重亦然。

Vimalakīrti said: "The bodhisattva is like this. Although born in an impure Buddha land, in order to transform sentient beings he does not merge with the darkness of ignorance, but merely extinguishes the darkness of sentient beings' afflictions." / This fourth part joins the metaphor to explain. The twofold layer is also like this.
