是故天帝。若善男子善女人。受持讀誦供養是經者則為供養去來今佛　二述人益深。文二。此初正述也。經是三世佛母。供其母則供其子也。又教能顯理理能悟佛故受持讀誦則為供養三世佛矣。

'Therefore, Lord of Devas, if a good man or good woman accepts, upholds, reads, recites, and makes offerings to this sūtra, they make offerings to the Buddhas of past, future, and present.' Second, explaining that the benefit to persons is profound. The text has two parts: this first is the direct explanation. The sūtra is the mother of the Buddhas of the three times; offering to the mother is offering to the child. Furthermore, the teaching can reveal the principle, and the principle can awaken one to Buddhahood; therefore, accepting, upholding, reading, and reciting it is making offerings to the Buddhas of the three times.
